Workshops are held in my spacious backyard, which was the fan favorite home on the most recent Point Loma Garden Walk.
It’s a beautiful backdrop for a creative afternoon.
This is a relaxed, social, and creative activity that is great for friends and mothers and daughters.
You’ll learn the basics as you go, but the focus is on making something you love.
Workshops are on relaxed Sunday afternoons. You can join one of my open workshops or book a private workshop for groups of up to 16.
I’ll share simple tips on planting, composition, and balance. Then you’ll choose the succulents you want to work with and dive in and create your own. There’s no experience necessary. Just come ready to create something beautiful.

I’m offering two different workshops this summer. One is organic and beachy and the other is modern and design-forward.
Succulent Shells
Create a stunning succulent seashell using a sculptural murex shell and a curated selection of high-quality nursery plants. Each piece feels like a coastal treasure, organic, textural, and completely one of a kind. There’s no cookie-cutter design to follow. You’ll create your own one-of-a-kind piece with guidance along the way.
Jewel Boxes
Create a darling jewel box of succulent eye-candy in a sleek 8″ white ceramic container. These low-profile arrangements are all about color, texture, and composition, designed to look beautiful from every angle. No two arrangements will turn out the same. You’ll design your own with help as you go.

Book a private succulent making workshop for a birthday party, bridal shower, or other special occasion. Succulent making is a fun and unique activity for book clubs, small groups, and just friends who want to do something different, get creative, and take some great photos.

You’ll leave with a finished piece that looks like you bought it at a boutique.

Private Workshops
Looking for something different for a birthday, bridal shower, book club, team gathering, or just an excuse to get your favorite people together?
I host private succulent workshops for up to 16 guests on select Sundays. Guests create their own one-of-a-kind arrangement in a relaxed, beautiful setting that’s made for a memorable afternoon and great photos.
Private events can be customized with extended time for party setup and decorating.
